Message ha..

I got sunburned on my face on the first day. I even put suntan lotion on, but still got burned. I remember thinking to myself... shit.. and I've still got 6 more days of this!

Thank god I upgraded to Glenn's #45 sunblock! No more problems after that.

Salah,
thanks for delaying fixing your car untill after Joe returned. Joe was able to really help us out at the event. We really kicked more ass than I expected. Pulling off 2nd place at Spring Mountain, when nobody else had experience there really boosted our moral and expectations. Along with our 2nd place finish at Streets of Willows, when we were never there before too, while about half the field was there before.
It also helps with all the video and track map studying I did before each event. I also walked Spring Mountain and Streets of Willows before each event. That REALLY REALLY helped me learn the line fast, and could push the car right off the back. At Streets of Willows, I think I did about 4-5 hot laps total over the course of 3 sessions, before solidifying 2nd place. We didn't even have to run the 4th session. It was very cool.

I think we would have done just as well at Thunderhill, if we haddn't broke, since that was my home track, with over 7 events logged in over there. Maybe next year. Also, if we had the same Pilot Sport Cup tires as Navid, I seriously think we could have pulled 1st place away from him at a few tracks. 1st place over all would have been tougher.

At Spring Mountain, totaling our 3 fastest laptimes, we were only 2 seconds off total, from Navids total. All of our hotest laps were less than 1 second from Navids hottest laps. Pilot Sport Cup tires are definately more than 1 second faster than our A032 tires.
